GREAT WESTWOOD Gymkhana and Clear Round Evening - Thursday 13th May @ Great Westwood - 5.30pm

Calling ALL mounted games enthusiasts….. We are going to host some evening competitions through the summer evenings.


The format will be individuals split into groups based on age and ability of the pony and rider. Each group will have seven races with final placings being awarded on total scores within your own group. Rosettes will be awarded to all competitors.


Mounted games races will include old favorites such as Bending/Mug/flag/sock/bottle/run and ride plus a whole host of thrills and spills.  Open to all ages and abilities, from lead rein to grannies, everyone WELCOME
£10 per rider.

We are holding this first show as a trial run to see how it runs, we may start offering pairs as well if we have time, and if people are interested.

We will also be offering a clear round with rosettes to all clears. Jump heights will vary from 3 inches to 3 feet to suit everyone.

Great Westwood Equestrian Park hosted the Area 12 Pony Club Tetrathlon on 26th July and we are pleased to announce that we have many new jumps, including "Neil's Nautical Nightmare".
